- Non-European travelers who meet the requirements must have the eTA from January 8, 2025, and will be able to apply for it from November 27, 2024.
- European travelers will need the eTA from April 2, 2025, with the possibility of applying for it from March 5, 2025.

We hereby convey to you information that ECTAA has provided us, of which ACAVe is a very active member, regarding the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to travel to the United Kingdom.
eTA is a travel authorization permit that will be required by non-British and non-Irish citizens visiting the UK and who do not require a UK visa, e.g. EU/EFTA (excluding Ireland), Japan, Canada and USA
It is already effective for the GCC (Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf) countries. Nationals of the EU (except Ireland), EFTA (European Free Trade Association) and other European microstates (e.g. Vatican City, Andorra, etc.). It can be requested from March 5, 2025 to travel from April 2, 2025.
